On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we take a moment to reflect on the persistent disparities that exist among different racial and ethnic groups in the United States. In his ‘I Have A Dream Speech,’ Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. specifically highlighted poverty as a significant obstacle faced by many African Americans.
