Data Notes
The data for this visualization comes from the American Community Survey which is completed by the US Census Bureau. I used the 2022 1-Year Public Use Microdata Sample which can be found on the ACS Website. This visualization uses Tableau to show the age of people married in the past 12 months.
The data in this visualization comes from a question on the ACS, “In the past 12 months did this person get married?” We paired this with data about the person’s age and other characteristics such as education level to create this visual.
