Understanding the impact inflation and recent price changes have had on Americans is vital for the understanding the economy and future growth. This becomes even more important when you see there are differences by individual and household characteristics. Leveraging data from the Census Bureau’s Household Pulse Survey, this data visualization explores how stressful recent price changes have been on American by household income, age, marital status, educational attainment, and region.
To gather the data, I utilized a Python script to scrape the data from the Census Bureau’s FTP and visualized the data through Tableau.
